Around the 2017 - 2018 school year, a handful of schools in the West Bend, WI area reached out for help. School staff members noticed students did not have access to wholesome food once the day was over. For many students, school lunches are the only meals they have access to in a day.

Because of this, Full Shelf Food Pantry joined forced with interested West Bend schools to supply wholesome food to those who need and want it through the on-going School Backpack program.

On a consistent basis, food items are picked up by school staff and then handed out to students to take home to their families.
